The Company Our client is a leading boutique firm within the executive search and board advisory sector of the market, operating from one office in London the client has global reach and works with clients in the U.S, Brazil, Sweden, etc. as well as frequently working with the top 100 FTSE companies. Board Advisory They work with their clients to future proof companies and strengthen pre-existing boards through meticulous market research which in turn enables them to identify trends and predicts shifts in the economy. They also provide advisory support to their clients by identify weaknesses within boards and implementing strategies to combat potential repercussions. Executive Search The client works with their clients to place CEOs, CFOs, CHRO’s and CIO’s within organisational structures. The process for this occurs in 3 stages which typically occurs over 1-4 months. The Pitch - why they should work with you, secure brief and specifications for job role Market Research and Mapping- identifying where suitable candidates are currently working and headhunting from current role. Present suitable candidates to client and arrange a meeting. The Close - Once interview process is over and the job is offered and accepted the process is complete. The Role and the Candidate Executive search is a field which requires extensive research and communication skills. Market mapping and research is entrusted to researchers at junior level and this stage is critical for the execution of the project. Progression within the role occurs when sufficient knowledge and understanding of the market is reached. As an Executive Search consultant, you will have the opportunity to consult with top tier candidates at a high business level, pinpointing their wants and demands as well as negotiating the best arrangement for your candidate. Communication skills are paramount within the executive search sector as you will be dealing with clients that have mutli-millions in their net worth and the ability to build rapport and communicate with individuals of this calibre is extremely important. Exceptional candidates will possess most, if not all, of the following: University degree from a Russel Group University - 2:1 or higher, minimum of AAB at A-Levels. Strong communication skills Commercial experience - 6months working within a professional environment. Drive and ambition.
