Overview
Your new company One of the UK and Ireland's leading Building and Civil Engineering contractors is now recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. This successful contractor has attributed to the completion of signature landmarks across the UK and Ireland for the last decade and continues to grow within the industry. Due to the award of numerous projects across the UK, the company now requires an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial Team based in Mallusk. Your new role Based in the head office Mallusk, you will report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and assist in all aspects of the project. You will work alongside a team of Quantity Surveyors on site in the UK and assist in the preparation of budgets, identify and manage Commercial risk and prepare Interim Valuations and Final Accounts. Due to the location of projects, you must be flexible to UK Travel. What you'll need to succeed You will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying with a strong knowledge of construction and NEC/ JCT contracts. You will work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent communication skills to ensure successful negotiation with clients and sub-contractors.
