Overview

Lamb Personnel are looking for a Communications Associate to join our client, a leading pharma company, based in Leatherhead (moving to SW London in 2020). This position would suit a graduate, ideally with proven experience in this field. Starting from basic concepts you will need to work closely with the Communications team to develop and execute an online-focused strategy for new and existing brands in a consumer facing role. Hours of business : Monday : Friday : 8.30am : 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime as required Primary Objective: Assist with communications and analytical projects across the global Group Main Interfaces: Internal: General Manager, IR and communications staff, business development staff, specialist and technical staff, executive team External: Graphic and online designers, external stakeholders, communications/PR consultants. Competencies (knowledge, skills and attributes): Undertake analytical research tasks relevant to the work of the Group including corporate intelligence, Support meeting preparation for senior management Work with the marketing team to develop design projects and social media, including content research and development Communications and messaging development, including ensuring consistency of the presentation of the Group globally (proficient in use of new media tools/software) Assist in implementation of sponsorships and events Skills/Abilities Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information Studious, active mind, willing to acquire knowledge Ability to research, analyse and report independently across a breadth of topics Excellent administrative and people skills Ability to work under pressure Flexibility to adjust course when required Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workflow Flexible approach to working hours where needed Ability to access/open new communications channels Qualifications / experience requirements: Degree level education, preferably with technical exposure Desirable candidates will possess: Experience managing communications projects; An eye for detail; An ability to work independently and at distance where necessary; An inquisitive mind, unafraid of scientific information or new concepts; Native or flawless English, with knowledge of other European languages (particularly German/ French/Italian) an advantage; High level computer skills, including exposure to graphics and/or video software packages and Microsoft Excel. The Communications Corporate Associate provides multi-level support to the communications team and senior management worldwide, with a particular focus on analytical research and development. Working from a solid educational foundation in communications, finance or related fields, they are expected to be flexible and nimble in their role to manage short- and long-term projects as well as dealing with day-to-day communications and research tasks. Exposure to regulated industries and/or public companies is a clear advantage. The role will be office based in Leatherhead, Surrey; some European travel may be required. Working across the global business as part of a high-performing team there is an expectation of out-of-hours flexibility to deliver on projects. Salary commensurate with experience.
