Overview
My client, a market leading, multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy based on the outskirts of Leeds, is searching for a Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join a team of specialist Consultants and Engineers based in Leeds. It is essential that applicants have a strong background in Hydrology or Civil Engineering and experience completing and Flood Risk and Hydraulic Modelling Projects using Infoworks ICM or Hec-Ras or Tuflow or Flood Modeller Pro. Candidates are required to have demonstrable experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans and Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Calibration using Flood Modeller Pro, Tuflow and Infoworks ICM. It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience managing projects and mentoring team members. As a Senior Hydraulic Modeller you will be required to complete large scale Hydrological, Flood Risk, Flood Alleviation, Drainage and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Residential, Commercial and Industrial Developments for Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Local Authorities. You will also be required to check technical work, provide technical advice to the team and complete; -Flood Risk Assessments. -Surface Water and Catchment Management Plans. -Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Calibration using Flood Modeller and Infoworks ICM, Tuflow and Flood Modeller Pro. -Drainage Strategy. -Flood Alleviation Schemes.
