Overview
Our client is a very forward thinking, fast paced and expanding business. Due to their continued growth we are looking to help them expand their development team by adding several additional Junior Developers. We are looking for Junior Developers - the available roles will suit graduates looking for their first step into the professional and commercial development sector or somebody with proven development experience whether that be self-taught or gained through education or commercial work. The team is all about collaboration, so we are looking for individuals who are good communicators with solid interpersonal skills. To be considered for the roles you will have knowledge and expertise of current and emerging development technologies and products - development and technology will be your passion We are looking for candidates who have the appetite and attitude to learn as well as the knowledge to assist others in technologies they are more familiar with. If success and hired you will be joining a talented team of software developers responsible for the design, development, testing and delivery of a wide-range of in-house business software and web-based solutions. You will be working alongside other team members, Junior Developers, Senior Developers, Software Testers and Project Managers, all focused on delivering quality products to clients within agreed time-lines. As a Junior Developer you will be expected to support as well as develop in-house products, meaning you will be developing new and exciting products as well as supporting older legacy systems via 3rd line support, both phone and face to face with internal users. The technology stacked being used is as follows - you will need good knowledge of a mixture of these, training and coaching will be given to help you master them all; ASP.NET C# Understanding of Agile Methodology CSS Exposure to T-SQL (SQL Server), or PL/SQL or MySQL JavaScript jQuery Exposure to Git or equivalent source control Exposure to Microsoft TFS You will be offered a very competitive salary, good benefits and ongoing coaching, training and professional development.
