The ideal Reception Teacher will be an outgoing teacher who has been graded ‘Good’ or better consistently in observations. We want to meet a Reception Teacher who is enthusiastic about creating a positive learning environment where each child has the opportunity to learn. As a Reception Teacher, you will be encouraged to create a bright classroom through the use of educational displays. About the Reception Teacher Role In this Reception Teacher position, you will be joining a team of 3 other Reception Teachers and take over a class of 26 Reception pupils. Your class will benefit from the assistance of a TA who has been working at the school for a number of years. As Reception Teacher, you will be directly reporting to the KS1 lead. They will ensure that your transition into the school is smooth and that the resources and facilities which you require to be the best Reception Teacher you can be are in place at all times.
