Financial Controller | Sutton Bridge | £55,000 - £70,000 package The Opportunity Outstanding opportunity for a confident Financial Controller seeking a broad and autonomous business facing role. You will be the 'number one’ in finance on a day to day basis for this growing £60m turnover manufacturing business (a diverse and modern subsidiary of a large global group). You will be a financial sounding board to the senior leadership / exec team locally and play an absolutely integral role in supporting key strategic decision making. Managing a small team you will ensure the board packs are produced in a timely and well-managed fashion. This is an exciting high-tech manufacturing environment where reporting is weekly rather than month end rinse repeat. There are plenty of ongoing projects that will allow you to really get under the skin of the business and add value. Your remit will include Ensuring credible and insightful MI / board packs are presented to senior stakeholder / local board level. Providing relevant summaries, commentary and key financial information to drive growth and optimum performance. Influencing control of costs and assisting in driving profitability. Providing insight around margin protection and production efficiency. Budgeting, driving awareness of variances and ongoing forecasting. Overarching financial control. Team leadership and coaching. You will ideally be A qualified finance professional with experience of providing key business partnering within a manufacturing environment. Able to show awareness of the drivers of success within a diverse and fast paced business. Comfortable working very closely with non finance colleagues (to director level). IT literate. Able to lead a small collaborative team. Looking for a broad and highly visible role within a multifaceted business. Comfortable managing continuous improvement initiatives alongside the business as usual reporting / control.
