Job Type: Full-time |

Salary: £26,000 per annum |
Overview
New role for a Support Analyst or Support Consultant with application software support experience - ideally ERP software but it could be property software, pensions, payroll, DMS software, MRP solutions, or similar. You will gain SQL Server skills (if you don't already have them), and work with a dynamic, busy, friendly team of ERP Support Consultants, with great prospects for moving into consultancy, software implementation and / or training in the future. The job is office based near the Castle Bromwich area of Birmingham and is paying up to £30k plus bonus, and discounts on travel and food & drink. They are looking for a bright, motivated and friendly Application Support Consultant who has a genuine interest in technology, IT and business processes, has supported application software and has excellent communication skills with customers at all levels. You will be getting software queries and issues by phone, email or web chat, log your calls, document the details, identify issues, track your cases, escalate problems where necessary, keep your clients notified of progress with the problem, look for bugs, reproduce them, work closely with the development team to fix and test them, resolve data issues, and handle your cases through to completion. Their ERP software has great functionality and a lot of modules, so the support emails and calls are varied and interesting, and the team are upbeat and motivated - it's a good environment to work in. They use their own in-house ERP software to log and track the calls, which is a nice feature. You need at least 12 months software application support experience within any application software sector. Ideally this will be ERP software such as Sage 200, Dynamics NAV, Epicor, Sage 1000, Protean, Infor, SyteLine, Dynamics AX etc, or accounting software such as Access Dimensions, SunSystems, Coda, Exchequer, Agresso, PS Financials etc. But it could be something similar such as construction software like COINS, or property management software like PEX or Yardi, or DMS software like Pinewood, Kerridge, Pinnacle or Dragon, or software for retail & fashion, estate agency solutions, Merchants' software like Intact, or MRP or legal accounting software. If you also have some technical skills with SQL Server or any Servers or database experience, that would be useful too. This software consultancy provides a major ERP solution that covers inventory, supply chain, accounting & invoicing, sales & CRM, fixed assets, WMS, retail management, HR & payroll, service management, BI, job costing, document management and much more. They have nearly 50 staff and have had extremely successful growth in the last few years, leading to lots of career opportunities for ambitious people.
