Your role: You will have your own portfolio of clients and preparing full sets of accounts for them o Year-end and Management Accounts preparation o VAT, Tax and Bookkeeping knowledge to review work of junior staff Managing Junior staff o Both onsite and outsourced o Reviewing their work and making sure it is completed in a timely manner and within allocated budgets o Ensuring needed adjustments and corrections are made o Passing your knowledge along to Junior staff and aiding in their development Client contact o Being one of the main points of contact for clients o Addressing queries, deciding when to escalate to Senior Management o Contributing to the company’s bottom line, cross selling the firm’s other services which includes corporate finance and insolvency Your profile: Are ideally ACCA or ACA qualified or QBE Are interested in professional development and keeping your skills fresh Desired systems include Excel, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero or CaseWare Your new company Clients from a wide variety of sectors including many property clients, retail, charities and educational institutions Are on an aggressive marketing and expansion plan and have been regularly taking on new staff members They have modern, purpose-built offices and a great location nears shops, parking and transport links Provide full accounting, strategy, insolvency and corporate finance services Competitive benefits package Because our client has a portfolio of clients who expect the best level of service, they need to attract the best people for their Senior Accountantrole.
