Overview
Are you a Buyer based in the Worcester area with experience of purchasing within a fast paced manufacturing environment? Can you read and understand engineering drawings? Do you have strong MRP/ERP experience? If so, please read on. As Buyer you will have responsibility for procuring components, mechanical and electrical parts to support manufacturing. You will raise purchase orders, use the MRP system extensively and also have responsibility for management of stock. You will develop and maintain supplier relationships and negotiate lead times and reductions with suppliers. In order to carry out the Buyer role, you will need the following skills and experience: Experience of managing stock Strong communication skills Previous experience of buying within a manufacturing environment Strong MRP/ERP systems experience In return, you will receive a salary of circa £30,000 dependent upon experience plus benefits By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Gleeson Recruitment Limited.
