Overview
GUARANTEED WORK THROUGH THE ENTIRE YEAR If you want to ensure that you will have continuity of work through the winter period, you should apply for this job. StaffCo Direct are actively recruiting for experienced CE (Class 1) drivers in one of our extremely well recognised client in Derby. We are looking for highly motivated, flexible drivers who are able to take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day to day operation. The Job: - The role will involve collections only - No manual unloading, pump truck or hand ball required. - 10-12hr shifts. - No use of Sat Nav as there will be predesignated routes planned. - Completion of paperwork as per the client request. You will be responsible for making sure all delivery logs are signed and accounted for and the role will require you to be well presented, polite, courteous and to represent the client and StaffCo to a high standard at all times. What we offer: - Hourly Rate: £13.75 Days £17.02 Day OT £14.75 Nights £17.87 Night OT - Monday to Friday will be the usual shifts with the possibility of extra hours on a weekend. - Start times (AM): Between 05:00 - 11:00 but we can be flexible should you require it. - Start times (PM): 14:00 – 23:00 but we can be flexible should you require it. - Average shift length: 10 to 12 hours. What we are looking for: - Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO - Minimum 1 year driving experience. - No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes) - Excellent level of English - Excellent knowledge of the UK road network - Hardworking - Good Timekeeping - Customer care focused - Well presented - Physically fit Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous upon application of this role.
