Production Assistant
Overview
We are working with a British cruelty-free cosmetics company, specialising in on trend make-up and nail products. They are looking to recruit a Demand Planner Assistant covering forecasting and stock related planning within their own in house and overseas production. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills sets within Production for a growing and fast pced brand. Key Responsibilities:- Monitor stock levels and sales to assist in buying finished product, raw materials and components. Liaise closely with NPD team and BAA to keep on top of pending orders and delivery schedule. Weekly production planning taking capacity, limitations and logistical preferences into account. Attend daily progress meetings. Assist in analysis used for buying and production. Updating sales reports as sales info is received. Updating and distributing OOS reports and delivery fulfilment info to key retailers. Running Top 50 lines weekly and flagging any risks/opportunities. Regularly reviewing and updating supplier codes in all relevant documents. General maintenance and up-keep of databases and planning tools. Working with sales team to allocate out NPD amongst retailers. Helping to forecast sales for new launches. Assist in providing analysis and insights to make business decisions. Promotion planning. Key Requirements: Have 1-2 years experience in a similar role. Enthusiastic and self-motivated. Educated to degree level. Faultless attention to detail. Excellent analytical skills and a love of Excel. Able to multi-task, prioritise and stay calm under pressure. Proactive and takes initiative.
