Overview
Rewarding opportunity to join a successful Drugs of Abuse testing laboratory Primarily lab-based you undertake a range of projects, screening for drugs of abuse in biological samples using both LC-MS and GC-MS instrumentation. You will be responsible for the entire process, from preparation of biological samples such as urine and hair, through to method development and validation. As a Senior member of the team you will also be required to troubleshoot instrumentation and take apart as required. The successful candidate must have: A strong background in both LC-MS & GC-MS analyses Experience analysing drugs of abuse within biological samples (ideally urine or hair). The ability to develop novel robust methods and ideally have experience with method transfer Experience troubleshooting and maintaining instrumentation (Waters instrument knowledge would be highly advantageous) Due to the nature of the work undertaken, you must have lived in the UK for the last three years to pass mandatory security clearance screening.
