Overview

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Legal Cashier to join a growing business based in Leeds City Centre. The position reports into a knowledgeable Head of Finance who will provide full support and training for the successful candidate. It's an excellent time to join a friendly, long standing finance team with great opportunities for ambitious candidates. Responsibilities include: Processing payments, receipts and transfers. Performing end of day balancing procedures. Processing BACS payments. Daily reconciliation of unidentified funds. Accurate filing of all support documentation. Ensuring regulatory compliance with SARs to prevent any breach. Accurate posting of receipts and payments. Identification and allocation of receipts. Other ad hoc duties as and when required. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a Legal Cashier role. A strong work ethic. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
