You can literally choose your own working hours with this position Info about the company The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be working for an exciting automotive company, developing the latest mechanical, battery and electronics technology for vehicles, with ambitious growth plans over the next 5 years Info about what the role entails The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be carrying out the following duties: · Managing a team of circa 8 people · Implement Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies and monitor these for optimal manufacturing · Research into new methodologies to improve the production process · Work closely with the design department to ensure production specifications are followed · Work closely with the in-house tooling and equipment department for the production of jigs and fixtures · Manage stock change over plans and ensure smooth transitional changes · Produce CAPEX budget requests and work with machinery suppliers when needing to purchase new equipment · Working closely with quality assurance and supply chain departments, helping to improve suppliers’ processes and ensure defects are kept to a minimum Essential Requirements of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager · Strong Manufacturing and Engineering experience · Extensive Lean and Continuous Improvement skills Nice to Have Requirements of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager · Automotive or aerospace manufacturing experience If you feel you are suitable and interested in this role, APPLY NOW with an up to date CV.
