Grounds Maintenance Operative Berry Recruitment are extremely proud to be working with a large local client who require grounds maintenance operatives to work across sites throughout East Devon mainly covering Sidmouth, Axminster and Seaton area. This is an all hands on beck position with a multitude of different requirements needed on a daily basis. The current grounds team take great pride in everything they do and this will also need to be your ethos. ROLE REQUIREMENT FOR GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE As a Grounds Maintenance Operative this role will require a level of customer service as this is a very busy role Below are some of the requirements of the role Strimming Mowing - ride on and pedestrian mowers Hedge trimming Weeding Litter picking Watering of lawns, trees and plants General estate tasks Facilities cleaning Awareness of and compliance with Health & Safety requirements and legislation ESSENTIAL SKILLS Horticultural background Operation of petrol strimmer's and hedge trimmers Ride on lawnmowers Full UK driving license, This is a temp ongoing role paying £9.55 p/h Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm.
