Overview
A start-up renewable energy business is looking for a financial controller for initially a 6 month contract. This is a newly created role reporting into the board members. As the financial controller you will be responsible for all controllership duties including quarterly management reporting and ensuring a timely audit preparation. Main responsibility: Lead the financial audit Restructure accounting and finance functions Prepare quarterly management accounts Ownership of revenue recognition Statutory reporting - UK GAAP / IFRS preparing the budgets and forecasting Requirements ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent Strong excel / modelling Professional service background This role is ideal for someone with extensive post qualified experience, looking for a challenge and lead a small finance team.
