Overview
Your new firm Our leading national client is offering a fantastic opportunity within their real estate clean energy team in Bristol. The real estate group has an award-winning reputation and are now looking to add to their Bristol team, with an ambitious junior commercial property lawyer. Your new role You will be dealing with drafting option agreements and leases on a wide range of clean energy projects (including wind, solar and hydro). You will undertake due diligence on these projects to include a review of title, enquiries and searches alongside acting in relation to the financing of clean energy projects and large-scale acquisitions/disposals. You will be involved in client contact, running your own files with early responsibility for the delivery of transactions. You will provide support in relation to other aspects of work within the team including landlord and tenant work, corporate support and public-sector work What you'll need to succeed You will be a recently qualified lawyer with experience of Real Estate and the ability to manage a busy and varied workload. While experience in the renewables / clean energy sector is desirable, this team would be open to considering Commercial Property lawyers with broader Real Estate experience with a desire to learn and develop legal skills in renewable energy.
