Overview
The company are a s global specialty chemicals and performance materials company. They are consistently expanding and are now looking for a Laboratory Analyst / Technician to conduct the day to day analysis of chemical raw materials, to appropriate predefined standards. In this role you will be ensuring materials are available in a timely manner for use by production departments, ensure that all documents used in the laboratory, including standards, are kept at their latest issue status and the calibration status of all laboratory equipment is maintained and monitored & more. This is a fantastic chance for a Laboratory Technician to join a global specialty chemicals company, who wants to assist in a research and development project, where you will have a diverse and technically interesting contract role. The Role: Analysis of production samples of composition for compliance with expected formulation. Assist the Works Chemist in the maintenance of the Chemical Laboratory and equipment in a safe and usable condition for all laboratory users Monday to Friday 08:30am to 16.30pm OR 10:00am to 18.80pm (35 hours per week) Overtime The Person: Laboratory Analyst / Technician Wanting an immediately available, days based, 6 month contract Wanting to work for a global specialty chemicals company Previous experience in a MUD lab is beneficial.
