Our Business Wrixon Care is committed to supporting local authorities to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people in particularly challenging circumstances. Our Services Available 24 hours a day 365 days a year, our services include: Secure transport of children and young people 24-hour support of children and young people with particular challenging support needs Support work within secure children’s units The Role You will be supporting people whose actions reflect the life challenges they are facing often in challenging environments so it can be physically and emotionally demanding and you will need to draw on your experience, life skills and training. We operate over 24 hours a day so the timings of our tasks are unpredictable and you will need to be able to respond to emergency call outs. You will, therefore, need to be flexible. The Rewards Variety – no two days are the same You will be helping to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people at times of crisis in their lives An hourly rate of £10.25 - £15.00 Fully maintained and equipped company vehicles Team working A choice of contract types and working arrangements to suit your own work-life balance preferences The Next Step You will need: evidence of your entitlement to work in the UK to live within reasonable travelling distance of the above location. a full manual driving licence and a good driving record A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Disclosure will be required prior to and during employment (we can assist with making an application).
