LSA- Learning Support Assistant - competitive rates of pay & Education and Training September 2002 Are you an individual looking to give back to your community & enrich the lives of pupils with SEND such as Autism, Aspergers, ADHD & Emotional and behavioural difficulties? This LSA role is to support on a 1-2-1, or small group basis within mainstream setting pupils with additional needs. The schools we support are based within Doncaster & local regions so you must being able to commute easily via public transport or drive. There are 2 roles to start September 2019 & we are working on supporting ad hoc & short term needs from May Ideal candidate: Sincerity & passion for the SEN sector, being patient & caring are incredibly important 'C' grades in GSCE Maths, English & Science - so you feel confident with the levels of work. Any relevant TA training or school based training would be desirable Experience - working with a family member or members is invaluable experienceAn understanding or experience of working within a school or SEN setting. LSA role will involve Working with Autistic pupils, pupils with ADHD, Aspergers, EBD, Dyslexia - Some 1: 1, raising attainment & behaviour. Pupils can either be a very high or low level, depending on who you are working with.
