Maintenance Engineer (Multi Skilled) Swindon £45,000 to 54,000 Dependant on experience (Permanent Nights) Up to 10% matched pension contributions, medical, critical illness and life cover additional benefits. 10pm to 10am 3 on 3 off (slight adjustment to suit individual may be available) Due to continued growth, this renowned investor in people is seeking further engineers to join their Swindon facility. The role will be suited to multi skilled engineers from high volume manufacturing backgrounds. Any manufacturing sectors can be considered although FMCG/High Volume experience is ESSENTIAL. You will be familiar with fault finding and rectification through automated/PLC driven machinery. Any relevant electrical or mechanical qualification will be sufficient although as this is a multi-skilled role you must be competent carrying out fault finding and repair activities both mechanically and electrically and have no more than a 70% bias either way. The role will involve working within a large production facility running over 50 state of the art plastic injection moulding machines. You will work in line with an existing PPM schedule and provide fast and effective breakdown support on shift. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced engineers seeking a progressive career both technically through structured internal and external training along with opportunities to progress to senior roles across any of the UK facilities The role in brief: A mix of PPM and reactive breakdown support within a large high-volume manufacturing facility Work on over 50 state of the art plastic injection moulding machines Carry out fault finding and repair through PLC's/automated machinery The Person Required Must be a multi skilled engineer from high volume/FMCG manufacturing background Must have no more than a 70% bias mechanically or electrically. Will hold a relevant formal mechanical or electrical qualification Must be used to maintaining/repairing fully automated machinery and fault finding through PLC's. Must be willing to commit to a permanent 3 on 3 off night shift for the long term.
