Overview

Manchester City Center Credit Controller Otto James Consulting is supporting a large, modern and forward thinking construction organisation in the recruitment of a Credit Controller for their Manchester City Center offices. As a talented Credit Controller, you will provide an important role supporting the Credit Control Manager in maintaining the recoverability of debtors within the Company, while working as a close credit controller to each operational manager. My client see's the Credit Control team as a valued conduit between effective business operations and cashflow. You will also improve and develop existing and future Credit Control procedures and strategy to enable better management and efficient collection of debt. Liaising with other departments and staff members as required to ensure debtors are recovered. Credit Controller Responsibilities: Efficient collection of debt via phone and email, Working along the sales team to strategically contact accounts, "Cash Posting" and Account Reconciliation, Taking full control of Credit Checks with new clients, Maintaining clear and concise communication history with client, Identifying bad debt and potential bad debt and analysing solutions, Handling disputes and realigning accounts within company terms Reporting frequently on the debtor's position and raising any issues or decisions required. Dealing with general day to day administration of the Company's debtors ledgers. Assistance in preparation of management information and reporting requirements. Reconcile and report on debtors on a frequent basis identifying any debts that have aged. Ensuring that internal deadlines, all internally agreed key performance indicators and service standards are met.
