Senior Support Worker - Children's (Mental Health) - Port Talbot A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and resilient 'Senior Residential Child Care Worker' to join an award-winning provider of Residential Children's Services in the Port-Talbot area. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES My client is seeking a resilient yet compassionate individual who will proactively contribute towards to the day to day operations of the Children's Home. Some of the key responsibilities will include: Contribute to providing a safe environment in which young people can develop and mature. Manage behaviour in an assertive and positive manner. Adhere to the homes policies procedures and team decisions. Support the Registered manager in all aspects within the home. Have the ability to Complete and update Placement plans, behaviour management plans, risk assessments and reports as directed by the registered manager. Supervise staff as required. Contribute to reports on behalf of the team for statutory reviews and other meetings. This is a full-time permanent vacancy working on a 2 on 4 off rolling rota shift pattern of 43.5hrs per week (plus sleep in duties).
