Overview
An exciting opportunity to work at a national specialist sub contractor in their Glasgow office. The company have offices across the UK, and turnover circa £40million each year, and about £5million from their Glasgow office. They are continuously looking to grow, and have developed relationships with Tier 1 contractors over numerous years. The company require an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to be based full time in Scotland with their time split 50/50 between office and site. The majority of sites are across the Central Belt. Each QS will have their own projects which they are commercially responsible for, and will help out with estimating also. The ideal candidate will have experience working as an Assistant for a roofing or cladding contractor, though QS who have experience working for a main contractor or another large sub contractor will be considered. You must have experience running your own jobs. A keen and ambitious attitude is essential. You must hold a full drivers licence. A generous salary is on offer for the successful candidate.
