Overview

Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Glasgow office: Client Advisor - Professional Indemnity and Management Liability We have a great opportunity to join our team in Glasgow as a Client Advisor in the Delta Professional Indemnity and Management Liability team. The Client Advisor will be responsible for servicing their own book of clients in conjunction with the Client Executive. The focus shall be on the client’s Professional Indemnity and Management Liability insurance arrangements and will involve managing renewals, preparing submissions to the market, producing renewal and new business reports, providing Insurers with instructions to bind cover, preparing and issuing policy documentation, ensuring tracker is kept up to date, dealing with mid-term adjustments and generally handling any queries that come through from their dedicated client base in a quick and professional manner ensuring client satisfaction throughout. This position would suit an experienced Account Handler looking for a new challenge/step up in to a corporate role within a fast paced and growing team within an established, market leading insurance broker. Good work life balance with a competitive salary Comprehensive benefits programs including: excellent pension contributions, private health insurance, tuition assistance, pension, employee assistance program, career mobility, employee network groups, volunteer opportunities, and other programs 26 days’ holiday with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days per year We will rely on you to: Support Marsh Client Executives regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals and administer mid-term changes Request and review underwriting information on behalf of clients and understand their requirements Prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips in consultation with the Client Executives and the Placement Team Utilise Marsh online trading systems to collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers Collaborate with Client Executives and Placement Teams to prepare client reports for renewals Produce and/or request Insurer documentation What you need to have: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously Fully Competent in Microsoft Office Products Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and organisational skills Good written and oral communication skills A good awareness of clients’ business, their business issues, insurance programmes and service plans What makes you stand out: Proven experience of working on the full renewal process of corporate or large commercial Professional Indemnity insurance programs is ideal Cert CII or studying towards it Financial Lines/Professional Indemnity Experience MARSH Marsh is the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser.
