Overview
Eden Scott's client, an award-winning independent Pensions and Actuarial firm, are looking to add an either Senior or Pension Consultant to their professional team. This exciting opportunity to work in their busy office has arisen due to company growth and expansion in their Glasgow offices and will play a significant part in their plans. Requirements The successful candidate should be an experienced pension professional with a solid industry background (5 years) within the Defined Benefit space, which has been gained through work experience within pension administration/actuarial/pension consultancy practices. Other essential requirements include: · Knowledge and experience of the Pension Protection Fund and the Financial Assistance Scheme guidance, processes and procedures, in addition to The Pensions Regulator guidance · Able to demonstrate deep technical understanding of pensions and relevant legislation · Thorough knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution schemes · Excellent project and budget management skills This role will be attractive to pensions professionals who can enhance and support the continued development of the business, while delivering excellent trusteeship. You should be self-motivated and eager to work hard to make an impact and reputation in the industry. You will have the capability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues across multi-site business, to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery to our clients.
