Overview
Our client, a Worldwide Business located in the heart of Sutton Coldfield are currently recruiting an Accounts Payable Co-ordinator to join their fun, hardworking team on a 12-Month contract basis. The company offer car parking, BUPA cover and lunch allowance along with other benefits. The successful candidate will be providing a high standard of customer experience to all internal and external customers. As the Accounts Payable Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for: Research vendor statements and take necessary action to ensure all open items are paid timely Maintains e-mail and phone contact with vendors and approvers Effectively carry out all transactional accounting and financial reporting duties associated with completing supplier payments Prepares, records, verifies, analyses and reports account payable transactions Processing supplier payments on a timely basis Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports Responsible for supplier payments, including preparation, delivery and responding to resulting queries Contribute to achieving the overall department goals by continuously achieving the SLAs of the team Demonstrate great business partnership and seeks to engage key stakeholders in initiatives to validate and gain their support for change Maintaining and updating procedures and documentation to assist with any training needs Delivering quality and thoughtful training for any new starters or existing colleagues as requested Utilising advanced Excel functionality, system tools and macros to streamline processes and remove manual touch points The successful candidate for the role of Accounts Payable Co-ordinator will have: Qualifications such as AAT / CIMA / Degree An active want to develop knowledge and technical expertise in Finance & GBS A proven high level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel Basic knowledge in Finance and Accounting In return the Accounts Payable Co-ordinator up to £20,500pa.
