Overview
We are currently representing one of the UK’s largest accountancy practices who are looking to hire an Accounts & Audit Manager to join their Milton Keynes office. The company have been expanding year on year, and are looking to make this hire due to an influx of audits. They are looking for an ambitious person who is keen to develop as a Partnership opportunity is potentially available further down the line. They are offering a market leading financial package for the role. The role is offering the opportunity to grow and develop an accounts and audit team. This will include training and supervising staff members, whilst also helping to win new business. You will also be reviewing work of juniors and the role will be very client facing. This could be a good opportunity for a an experienced Senior/Supervisor to step up. Duties: Core Responsibilities of the Position: Monitoring and controlling the Audit team including allocating and reviewing work, ensuring work is to expected standard Training and coaching the Audit team including appraisals Controlling the completion of Audit assignments Assisting management of a portfolio of clients Reporting directly into a partner Requirements: At least 5 years’ experience within Practice ACA/ACCA qualified Ability to develop and maintain long term client relationships Depending on experience, my client is willing to pay £45,000-£55,000 for the right person.
