If you're and experienced senior data engineer, this could be the role for you THE COMPANY As a senior data engineer, you'll be working within an exciting, ambitious start-up company specialising in the property market. The technology company are using a cutting edge tech stack in AWS and this could be a great opportunity for a strong SQL focused engineer to gain further experience in Python, AWS and other in demand skills. THE ROLE This role of a senior data engineer would involve leading a team in the development of a data platform whilst also improving core systems and business performance. In specific you can expect to be involved in: Working with other teams in order to maximise the potential and efficiency of data & reporting platform. Hands on design and development of the data platform using SQL, Redshift, Python, and more in an AWS infrastructure Data Prioritisation Maximising business performance through data. Simplify and enhance core systems. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE The successful senior data engineer will have the following skills and experience: An in depth understanding of data warehousing design, SQL, ELT. An in depth understanding in data modelling techniques (e.g Star Schema, 3NF A history in managing people.
