Overview
Premier Work Support have an amazing opportunity for a Procurement Analyst on a fixed-term contract of 9 months to cover maternity leave based in Crawley. This could lead to a permanent position if you excel during this period. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 08:45 - 16.55 and Friday 08:45 - 16:25. This is a key role supporting the Group Procurement Director by principally collecting, evaluating and maintaining data related to supplier expenditure, market intelligence, procurement KPI's, as well as procurement policies. In parallel, the role also provides administrative support to the procurement team with data maintenance on the E10 system. Your main duties will include collating and analysing expenditure across the group as requested, the MPV results across the group and issuing the 'Commodities Report' on a monthly basis. You will create and consolidate the regional 'Procurement Initiatives Trackers' and create and develop a central supplier contracts database, along with maintaining the Dropbox account used to share files. You will also assist with the development and maintenance of company procurement policies, managing documentation around the compliance to procurement policy, provide support with the management of RFP's for new projects, support the set-up and maintenance of information relating to pricing changes, pricing queries, new parts and new suppliers on the E10 system and raise and monitor 'PI tickets' in the group technical system which cover changes to specification or drawings. Experience in Procurement and a working knowledge of purchasing systems is preferred and proficiency in MS Office is essential. You must have the ability to analyse data and present results and trends to key stakeholders, and be highly analytical with good numeracy and written and verbal communication skills.
