We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with strong knowledge of AWS and PostgreSQL. They are a fast-moving and dedicated business. They were founded with the desire to play a key role in reducing the UK poverty premium and prevent employees from entering cycles of debt, caused by high-interest credit or payday loans. They value individuality, honesty, integrity, a go-get attitude, team spirit and a sense of humour. Their Core Banking product and team are responsible for maintaining their banking data infrastructure that processes hundreds of thousands of transactions. Their technology stack is AWS, Python, and PostgreSQL. The Senior Python Developer: 7 year’s experience in professional software engineering Mastery of Python, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs Deep experience with the AWS stack. Heavy users of DyanmoDB, SQS, S3, SES, Lambdas, API Gateway, etc Prior experience with banking or payments is nice, but not required Experiencebackground: Architect, develop, test, and maintain code to move money Obsesses over transaction speed of data Build metrics and dashboards to monitor banking infrastructure.
