Overview
The Role This role will involve developing and maintaining an insurance facilities placement platform. Facilities are structured insurance agreements between Insurers and Brokers that allow for easier quote and bind processes, providing proposed risks to be insured exist within the pre-defined parameters of the facility. The facility platform provides ratings, automated documentation, workflow process, Client acknowledgments and billing integration which requires maintenance and improvements as required by the business teams. Role Responsibilities: Engage business SMEs on monthly sprint business improvement drops to ensure: Requirements are correctly understood and written up Any production issues are correctly triaged and planned into Sprints based on backlog priority Playback to SMEs the sprint changes once developed and tested. Develop and improve the platform by configuration and lead the implementation through the environment stack: Documentation Templates Email Templates Workflow Process Screen Design Database Schema Alterations Rating Pricing Changes Manage configuration source control through visual studios and in combination with DevOps. Develop and improve the MI solution as required by the business teams through the use of Power BI reports. Assist the Technical Product Owner in working with the Business Product Owner in agreeing new Facility roll outs within different business areas. Provide support to business teams in the use of the application and resolve technical problems when experienced in the application. Liaise with the second line of support and Service Manger to ensure incidents are correctly triaged and managed. Create and raise technical release tokens for deployments across environments, ensuring correct details are provided to technical resources, providing sufficient detail for the change to be actioned.
