Overview
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Head of Compliance to join their busy, growing financial services business. You will be part of the senior management team, reporting to the CEO and be involved in supporting the company with all their compliance needs This is such a great opportunity for someone who is looking to contribute towards the growth and development of the next firm they join, you will hold senior responsibility but also be in charge of mentoring and supporting your team. As the Head of Compliance, your duties will include: Oversight and management of compliance framework Managing members of your team Providing technical regulatory advice Ensuring the effectiveness of current compliance framework is fit for purpose Ensuring a strong compliance culture is maintained. Ensuring that all compliance manuals, policies and documented processes/procedures are kept up to date and reflect changes in the FCAs requirements Developing a proactive, risk-based compliance monitoring system Monitoring marketing activities and any other high-risk activities Ensuring compliance complies with all laws and regulations You will have current experience within a similar role, ideally holding a CF10 position, you will have experience managing a team and have a strong understanding around Financial Crime rules and reporting. You will also need to be able work under pressure and to tight guidelines while maintaining a compliance focus at all times.
