The Procurement Team are multi-award winning, and are in a period of transition to ensure they continue to provide value for money and benefit to the organisation through their service. Your new role Reporting into the Head of Contract Management, you will implement contract management principles in support of the procurement team, as well as supporting all commercial and delivery aspects of large and varied complex contracts. To achieve this, you will: Work with key stakeholders to understand existing and developing requirements and ensure supplier contracts are delivered in line with these Analyse expenditure profiles and ensure they are in line with expectations, and actively stimulate value for money opportunities through improved supplier engagement and working practices Assess supplier spend against expectations to avoid overspend and drive cost reduction and savings through supplier delivery maturity plans Develop and embed best proactive contract management principles and appropriate governance through effective process, training and communication with key stakeholders What you'll need to succeed You will have excellent commercial skills with the ability to deal effectively with dynamic situations, as well as driving strategic success and continuous improvement. You will have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Experience working within Public Sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
