Finance Officer - Temporary On going Possible Permanent Opportunity Your new company is a well regarded educational organisation based in Reading (with onsite parking) Your new role will support the Finance Manager with the following responsibilities Raising orders for goods, supplies and services Produce Sales and Purchase ledger reports Ensure invoices authorised Investigate supplier queries Raise sales ledger invoices Maintain accurate and complete financial records of income and expenditure Recording banking of funds Manage petty cash Reconcile back accounts Produce monthly reconciliations and close down What you'll need to succeed is a sound foundation in procedures and practices towards the preparation of the trial balance including sales ledger, purchase ledger, cash flow management and VAT administration. AAT qualification would be beneficial but QBE candidates will be considered. An active DBS would be hugely beneficial but not essential.
