Merchant Account Manager Construction Products

THE COMPANY Our client is a market-leading manufacturer of project-driven construction projects used across a wide-variety of applications in the commercial sector. This is a company with an excellent reputation in the industry with a respected and market-leading product portfolio, who allow their Account Managers and Sales staff complete autonomy to run their areas as required. THE ROLE You will be wholly responsible for your own sales territory. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you can expect guidance and support when required but will also enjoy complete autonomy and control to run your sales area as you see fit. Our client has a very light management style throughout the business that give their Account Managers total freedom to get on with the job and enjoy a flexible working environment. Targets are challenging but very achievable with the aid of your merchant customers who will present you with a steady stream of project enquiries which will also see you dealing with end-users, contractors and engineers on a regular basis. You’ll be given the on-going training and support needed to properly understand the product range and ensure that your customers are using the most suitable options in their projects. THE CANDIDATE You’ll be an experience Account Manager within the wider construction industry. Your particular niche experience within the sector is less important than your experience of building relationships with wholesalers/merchant customers. An appreciation of construction engineering or site-based experience would be helpful but not essential to be considered for the role.
