3D Scanning & Metrology Engineer Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire £38,000 - £40,000 Per Annum Negotiable on experience Permanent Position 80% salary payments for the duration of Coronavirus "lockdown" for New Starters will be assured by the company Black Cat Recruitment are currently working with a large automotive manufacturing company within based in Buckingham near Milton Keynes. Due to significant investment in personnel, processes and plant in 2020, there are opportunities for an experienced, driven and committed Metrology Engineer to join their 3D scanning team on a Permanent contract. Experience required: Previous experience of working in a Metrology role within the Automotive industry is essential Previous experience of programming and running 3D scanning equipment is essential (such as FARO or ROMER ARM etc.) A background of working with plastic or moulded parts or similar would be beneficial Responsibility for the Metrology Engineer includes: The Metrology Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of 3D scanning and measurement for new products coming into the site. Metrology Engineer Job Role includes: Carrying out 3D measurement scanning ( FARO Arm and similar equipment) of plastic moulded car parts and assemblies Reporting, in the form of ‘First Article Inspection Reports' (FAIRs) Liaison with Design staff to optimise drawing measurement features and tolerances etc. 80% salary payments for the duration of Coronavirus "lockdown" for New Starters will be assured by the company If you have the relevant experience and would like to explore this excellent opportunity, please apply with your up to date CV or contact Ian at Black Cat Recruitment for more information.
