Overview

An large independent accountancy firm require the services of an experienced Accounts Assistant/ Accounts Senior on a full-time basis. They are looking for an experienced individual with 3-4 years experience to join their Business Services, accounts team. The Company iMultiply’s Practice team are working with a well established, forward-thinking Chartered Accountancy firm based in Glasgow. The firm are looking to expand their dynamic and dedicated team and currently require an Accounts Senior or Part- Qualified Accountant. The Role This busy, growing practice are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience working with a wide variety of SME clients across a wide range of industries. The Accounts Senior role will include: Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients Review and submission of VAT returns Preparation of statutory financial statements Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns Providing systems advice to clients, evolving into systems conversion, implementation, setup & training. Liaising with clients to meet targets and deadlines also ensuring a high level of client service is delivered. Identifying issues and taking proactive approach to reaching solutions. Mentoring the junior members of the team and supporting the managers in achieving department targets. On Offer: The full-time salary will be up to £32k (depending on experience). The firm is willing to provide study support (if not already qualified) and flexible working hours at 35 hours per week. Requirements: You must have 3-year minimum experience working in a similar Accounts Senior role within a firm Experience of preparing accounts to trial balance stage Ideally, you will have experience of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or Quickbooks Excellent communication skills will be required, and you must be comfortable liaising with client personnel If you would like to discuss this opportunity in more detail, get in touch with Carla Heron at the iMultiply office in Glasgow.
