Software Test Engineer (Python) Bath £25,000-£35,000 Training Pension Health Care Dental Life Assurance 33 Days Holiday Are you looking to join a company with a great culture of training and collaboration, looking to develop a brand new Software Testing Department in their picturesque offices in the heart of Bath? This company are at an exciting juncture in their history and are now looking to create a brand-new Software Testing team. As the UK arm of a large multi-billion pound organisation and with massive investment coming into them at the moment they are currently one of the UK's most stable businesses. In this role you will work closely with various different teams in the company. As the Developers are currently testing their own software, you will initially work closely with the Development teams to learn more about their internal systems and software, and more about the testing they're currently carrying out. After this period, you will create your own Autonomous Testing Software from scratch using Python. You will be based in Bath's beautiful City Centre, a 10-minute walk from Bath Spa Train Station, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. The ideal candidate will be confident writing test software from scratch, in Python. Experience with a Linux operating system is also required. Experience with implementing testing technologies such as Selenium, Jest, Enzyme etc. would be beneficial but isn't essential.
