Overview
Bembridge Harbour Authority Seasonal Facilities Cleaner 2020 Hours of work Rota based early morning and evening 2 to 3 hour shifts including some weekends, especially during the main summer season (July and August) and 3 x event weekends. Approx 12 hours per week plus. Job Description: Bembridge Harbour Authority operates shower and toilet facilities on 2 sites - The Duver Marina (The Duver, St Helens, P033 1 Y B) and at Bembridge Marina (Embankment Road). Also limited amount of office cleaning. General information: Bembridge Harbour operates 7 days a week and is run by a small inclusive team. There is an expectation of interchanging roles within the daily operation of the Harbour, and staff must be willing to adapt to the job in hand. The priority of all Harbour Staff at all times is the safety of staff and Harbour users and the safe and efficient running of the Harbour. BHA is committed to compliance with the Port Marine Safety Code (PMSC) and operates a Safety Management System, the requirements of which all staff members must be familiar with. Seasonal staff members report to the Operations & Safety Manager and Senior Berthing Master. Skills required: Knowledge of procedures relating to safe use of cleaning products Reliable timekeeping Self-motivation and professional attitude Primary Responsibilities: Cleaning, restocking and general maintenance of shower/toilet facilities and offices Liaison as necessary with job-share facilities cleaner Own transport necessary.
