Overview
Seasonal Ecologist - Oxford My client is a well-established Consultancy with an Environmental focus, they have been in the industry for over 75 years. They provide their environmental expertise to a range of clients in both the private and public sectors. They are currently looking to take on a Seasonal Ecologist in their ever-growing office based near Oxford. To achieve this role, the minimum requirements are: At least 6 months of relevant consultancy experience; Field survey experience predominantly with protected species survey; Competency in common software packages such as MS Office, QGIS or similar; A current UK driving license and access to own vehicle. It will be beneficial if you have: Some report writing experience; Experience conducting phase 1 habitat surveys; Membership to CIEEM or eligible to apply. During your time at this role you will be: Carrying out a range of ecological surveys (skills dependent) and assisting senior colleagues with other surveys to develop skillset. Carrying out desk studies, consultations, research, data management, and analysis, and report writing. Delivering work as efficiently as possible in order to meet agreed timescales and quality standards.
