Overview
My client is a well known Legal 500 firm in the East Midland's market. Traditionally they have been known for their childcare offering, but in recent times they have been gaining market share for privately funded work. They want to add to their private team based in Nottingham by appointing a family solicitor who has upwards of 3 years' PQE. There are a couple of other people handling family law work, however, you should be self-sufficient and capable of making your own inroads into the market. As you will be joining a smaller privately funded team, you will be putting yourself in a great position for career progression in the future. You will mainly be handling privately funded family law matters, including divorce, matrimonial and finances, therefore, you should be personable in your approach as you will be client-facing. Applications from panel members, members of resolution, as well as mediators and collaborative lawyers would be accepted. As a family solicitor, you will be a confident and self-sufficient fee earner able to handle work related to: Divorce work; Finances within divorce; Cohabitation matters; Ancills. Applications from relocators will be considered, however, you should be able to demonstrate a commitment to live and work in the Nottingham area. Exact salary package will be to negotiation depending upon your own circumstances and level of experience.
