Overview
This well established Legal 500 law firm based in York is looking for a 2-4 years' PQE solicitor to join its Corporate and Commercial department. As a corporate and commercial solicitor, you will be involved in assisting and leading on files which will include: merges and acquisitions, both share and asset based corporate governance joint venture and private equity investments group restructuring partnership commercial lending commercial contracts charity based work There will be an existing caseload of clients, from sole trader to SME regional businesses to national companies covering a broad range of sectors. However, this position will involve a significant amount of business development and marketing both for the department and the firm. This role would suit an ambitious junior solicitor, in possession of the drive and desire for development and career progression within this department. The success of the department is based upon individual client relationships, so strong client interaction skills are a key attribute necessary for this role. Interested?
