Civil Litigation Solicitor - Head of Department

I'm currently working with a well established Legal 500 firm that is seeking an experienced civil litigation solicitor or legal executive to head up their wider Litigation department in Coventry. The firm has a network of offices across the Warwickshire area that offers a range of commercial and private client services, therefore the Litigation department caters for disputes of a similarly broad nature. These may be related to property, debt, contested probate and inheritance disputes, commercial contracts, and landlord and tenant matters among other civil and commercial litigation work. As the head of civil litigation solicitor, your role will be to balance servicing a caseload of disputes while overseeing the wider department, including fee earners based in other offices. You will have involvement in the daily supervision and performance of the team, training, recruitment, departmental budgets and targets. The role would ideally suit an ambitious commercially minded associate level solicitor looking for the challenge of running a team, or an existing head of department seeking a LEXCEL accredited firm offering a good quality caseload and a supportive and collegiate ethos.
