Aladdin Testing Manager
Overview
A testing manager is required to lead the testing operations for a new launch of a Tax Transparent Fund., for a major Asset management organisation. The candidate will be responsible for the entire testing strategy, together with the organisation of testing activities across the programme and reporting to senior stakeholders. The scope of the testing will include both operational and technology change. Prior experience of the Asset Management change is essential. Key responsibilities:- Documents the testing strategy and test plan for the programme Sets the standards for the testing strategy for the programme inc best practice Ensures the tools and processes used within the programme aligns to the methodology of the organisation Determines the testing policy. Organise and run daily test meeting for the duration of the testing exercise for both operational and IT change. . Manage communication, collaboration and co-operation amongst FTE/Vendor staff in the UK and Luxembourg. Provide timely testing metrics and data points to key project stakeholders in support of informed decision-making process Define the setup of Test Framework, Practices, and setup governance controls to ensure compliance by vendors and project teams Collaborate with FTE/Vendor staff to estimate Testing Efforts and create a Test Plan Collaborate with PM/PMO to integrate Test Plan into overall Project Plan Communicate, Collaborate and Co-ordinate day to day testing activities by FTE/Vendor staff Oversee test scenario/cases creation Report observations and/or defects Ownership of defect life cycle management Create test status reports Required skills: 6 years of Testing experience with 2 years in Lead position, including senior stakeholder management. 4 years of Asset Management or life Insurance Experience Experience of Aladdin, or similar asset management platforms. Experience of SWIFT messaging. Experience of Collective Investment Schemes Preferred Experience of Tax Transparent Funds preferred Experience of working with HSBC Securities Services and knowledge of key systems e.g. ICON Experience of dealing with joint testing across multiple organisations. Understanding of all testing types (Functional and Non-Functional) Must have experience creating and executing test strategy around asset management platforms; Working both independently and collaboratively with various teams and global stakeholders (Business, Analysts/Architects/Support/Development/Business) in agile environments.
