Overview
Are you a degree educated Test Engineer with lots of hands on test automation experience and knowledge of building test automation frameworks from scratch? We are looking for somebody to fulfil a 6-month temporary position as a Test Engineer within a busy, friendly team in central Swindon. We are keen to speak to people who have experience of test automation; ci/cd, integration/ acceptance and testing with users. IF you are ITIL or ISTQB qualified then even better The team are based within a forward-thinking and topical organisation in central Swindon, right next to Swindon train station and the business offer fantastic exposure to great training and variety of Testing work. We are keen to hear from individuals with recent experience as a Test Engineer or Test Analyst with experience of Automation & QA Testing. The Test Engineer will: Assist with the building, delivering and iterating of digital services used by the organisation Assist with providing a modern and usable interface between the organisation & external users Assist with requirements, analysis, design, testing and release of software applications. Ensure effective delivery of major platform deliverables from various IT projects. To be considered for the Test Engineer position, you will: Be available to start immediately Have recent experience of Acceptance Testing (including UAT), Exploratory Testing and Automation of functional and non-functional requirements. Have strong knowledge of the testing lifecycle and test automation. Have great Stakeholder Management skills Have recent experience of building & maintaining test automation frameworks from scratch Have knowledge of software best practices like test-driven development (TDD), behavioural driven development (BDD), continuous integration and continuous deployment The company… A central Swindon business, grown by building and maintaining strong working relationships with their partners and other organisations to ensure that the UK is seen as a leader in research and innovation.
