DAY SHIFT - Electrical Maintenance Technician - Newcastle Your new company Your new organisation is a specialist manufacturer located in Tyne and Wear. They are a leader in their field and are currently expanding. They are looking for a new technician to join the team to assist with maintenance across the site. Your new role Your new role involves working as part of a small maintenance team looking after all manufacturing equipment as well as the facility itself. Some of your day to day responsibilities will include: PPM and reactive maintenance Installation and commissioning of new machinery Facilities maintenance Typical machinery to work on: mixers, fillers, conveyors, packaging machines, presses etc. What you'll need to succeed Time served - electrical maintenance Post apprenticeship experience in manufacturing environment Experience in installations, commissioning and maintenance. Experience working with 3 phase equipment. 18th Edition (beneficial) Inspection and testing qualification ie. C&G 2391 (beneficial) Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic experience (beneficial) Hands on approach What you'll get in return A competitive salary - £32,000. Excellent work life balance - Mon-Thu 07:30-16:00 and Fri 07:30-14:00. Overtime available at time and 1 1/2. Pension Scheme and Death in Service benefit is also provided.
