Overview

Litigator 4 - 6 PQE required for a brilliant regional firm on the outskirts of Oxford, well versed in multiple areas of law for a wide range of Civil Litigation issues. This highly ranked Legal 500 firm are well known in the area for some of their more niche practice areas and good reputation. This role is to replace a very experienced member of the team and to assist the Head of Litigation of complex and interesting matters. This is a PIVOTAL time to join the firm as they have recently hired across the board into their ethics and compliance team, marketing team and HR functions. They are making a push for the next generation of the firm, and it's a great time to be a part of the journey. The Firm This firm prides their reputation above all else, and after established for over 125 years in the local area, they market themselves on their brilliant reviews from clients and individuals in Oxfordshire and nationally. They very often work in close-knit teams and share works and knowledge. Firms and clients throughout Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire know them well. The firm has exceptionally strong ties to the property market in terms of Residential and Commercial but focuses on areas such as Debt Recovery and General Civil Litigation which has always been the backbone of the firm, especially in its earlier years. Role Overview The firm is looking for a Civil Litigator 4 - 6 PQE near Oxfordshire (although more Senior applications are encouraged) Civil Litigation is a broad skillset by nature, but you will work closely alongside another experienced Associate and focus on a varied caseload consisting of; Civil Litigation Interviews for pre-existing clients Advising on matters of dispute and providing legal opinions Developing and generating strong relationships for the firm Drafting settlement agreements Instructing Counsel for specialist matters Attending court as required Requirements? Minimum of 4 PQE required to be considered for this position Excellent communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills Self-motivated, organised with the ability to prioritise and manage their own workload You will be generously reimbursed with a salary of £50,000 per annum along with an excellent benefits package.
