Title: Test Technician Do you have strong knowledge electrical principles? Do you have proven ability in a manual testing background? Test Technician required around Horsham Salary upto £32,000 Location: around Horsham The Role of Test Technician Reporting to Test Engineering Manager. Undertaking Factory Acceptance tests using standard workshop test equipment such as power supplies, digital multi-meters & oscilloscopes. A proven ability to fault-find electromechanical equipment. Reading complex technical drawings both wiring and PCB schematics and (to a lesser extent) Mechanical drawings for fault finding purposes. Aid with maintaining calibration of test equipment and tooling records. Checking that all work meets quality and technical standards. Effective communications with engineering team to sort out issues during the testing phase of the project. Adhere to the company's procedures, policies and goals. What are the key (minimum) requirements for a successful Test Technician application? Excellent knowledge electrical principles. Proven ability in a manual testing background. Good all-round practical understanding of electrical and electro-mechanical systems. ONC in Electronic Engineering or equivalent. Computer Literate. Competent with using Mircrosoft Word and Excel pacakges. Experience of working with electromechanical systems HNC/HND in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
